Book , "Animating with Blender"

hi all, i have been very busy with 2.5 and all (will give a nice tour soon) but ~a week ago i received a copy of the new book by Roland Hess. "Animating with Blender".

Roland (better known as Harkyman) was also the editor and main driving force behind the new official blender guide "The Essential blender", and that same energy and driving force was truly carried on into this book.

"Animating with Blender" is really enjoyable book to read, its takes you through every step of making a short film including story and character development, to storyboarding and animating all without taking itself too seriously and unlike many other books like this i have read it provides a very nice and easy film to case study, (which is a very nice little film ;) )

Any one interesting in 3d animation in general should read this book , though it is blender based, this can be used for any 3d animation package, like it goes into trisVquads in terms of deformation, an the basic principles of animation itself.

So in Short this book is a truly great book for anyone interested in 3d animation and is must have (along with "the essential blender" and "bounce tumble and splash") for any serious blender user :)

the book can be found here

I truly hope you buy this book and enjoy reading it as much as i have :)
